Road to recovery

Life will not be that easy for me after the surgery today
My acl reconstructure was performed and it went smoothly
Mother and dear was with me all the way. So much thanks to them
Not forgetting many msgs from friends too. I ask dear to take a photo for me of myself to let me remember of this pain that i current suffer. So as to remind myself to constantly becareful when doing sports in the future
I am positive and i will be back in action soon. I will be persistent and be at my top during all physios.
I can. I will. I do. Hooyah!

One more week to bingo while i get back to my uniform for the first time in something more than a year.
Tall and proud i will be. As i may not be able to have that formation badge on it it anything goes wrong with the medical review board.

there was a straight sequence of event that tore me apart
xphysique was quite a success and bis mag are glad with the happy faces from the participants upon receiving their goodie bags
sending out the volunteers and then waiting for the participants to come by..
followed by the packing up and home sweet home

Home staying

its been another long while..
last time i was here was last year man.. sounds really long..
oh well..
the down side of blogging after a long period is the large amount of things to talk about…
and i tend to leave out some of the important moments that i wish to write it down..
results was out and i got quite a decent score..
just that bloody aerospace.. got a C
well.. i guess i really not cut out to read aerospace in university
however… saying that may not means im good enough for mechanic itself..
most of the modules last sem was elementary i guess.. its a time for people to strive and get the best that they can get.
but somehow the things they learn and studied so hard for during their jc times couldnt help them..
i heard people with 0.something gpa..
and academic warning and all..
hope the best for them
new semester coming this monday..
i got that pre-semester syndrome again..
dont feel like doing anything..
just keep myself in the room. and watch my dramas…

The 7 years

it started off with lots of uncertainties for me..
at such a young age.. 14 years old..
not yet a man.. only a small boy..
just like her.. a little blur girl
there are so much that we both had gone through together
went through 4 years being a couple in the same class..
been through another 3 at a different environment where trust is highly sensitive..
at the start… no one will think we will go far.. maybe a few months?
but after 1 or 2 years .. no one thought that we will ever end…
7 years for me now.. its 1/3 of my life..
and these 1/3 of it can be considered a major part of my development as a person..
through thick and thin i learned and corrected until the person i am now..
pretty much everything i possesses were contributed by this relationship
i am a man of fate by my Father’s influence..
if its yours, it will be yours in whatever way.
our love as a couple may have turned into friendship as the time passes..
but well… we will never know what will happen after another 7 years? haha
now that i am single..
finally… i dont really know what to do with it.. or even is there things to do.. hahaha..
just want to thank all my buddies who share my feelings with..
thank you all for being beside me…
and for Shihui.. we will still be friends…
just make sure the next guys is better than me…
maybe that will never happen.. cos im the best yo! wahahaha

Appreciating Appreciations

last Sunday.. i sms Mrs Mah if she was free on Monday for us to catch up with her..
as i tot she wont reply.. the next morning finally there was a response..
oh well.. somehow she dont have my number on her phone.. but she got my number la..
the anticipation on the way back Bedok South to finally see my former teachers was quite a experience..
dont know~ hmm i will describe it as a the anticipation kid wanting to see his long lost mother..
hahaha..
so there were a few teachers who Sherman and I met and talked..
after some sharings.. well.. i think i am really appreciated back in BDS.. with almost all my former teachers can remember my name..
ha.. maybe because i am one of those really few that visit the school after years..
Mrs Mah kept telling other teachers that we were her 06 batch..
oh man.. suddenly i felt we were so old already .. 21st birthday this year?.. old?.. quite la.. haha
Spoke with Mrs Mah and as always its so fulfilling telling her about my progresses and my life..
it has been long since i last came.. before i enlisted.. i came with my ‘A’ level results..
though it not flying colours.. but for her.. or any one taught me before.. i think its good enough ba..
so its almost 1 and a half year back already..
oh time flies man..
and talking of my NS life.. woo.. it will really take some of their time.. so really.. i just merely say the word hellweek for summary la.. hahaha
had a chance to speak with our DM too.. haha.. Ms Abraham a very loud name for any BDSian really haha..
its sad to realise how the lifestyle and culture that people around us or the young secondary school student had changed…
hai sad…
and oh.. she commented that i am a very humble person! hahaha
and how people should be proud and not to be Proud, arrogant in another words la..
come to this point..
i ask alot of people..

and i realise a very real thing about us..
how Practical should things be..
thats the idea..
being practical.. is it wrong? or it is just correct?
being practical means you need to complain about having NS?
means you cannot love someone who has no car?
means you cannot risk you life for Singapore if the government dont pay you well?
because of the word practical.. i think most of us forgot about loyalty, true love, religion, etc.
somehow when someone tell me whatever is more practical.. i got turned off easily..
its like.. being selfish rationally … why not you guys just say.. “hey~ i am selfish what!”

NDP Preview is tomorrow..
its a national event..
im in the Navy GOH as most know..
i may not be in the first row with the President walking pass me..
but i will definitely stand tall with a Naval Diver’s pride which sadly most of us dont have..
i think i realise how important your love ones affect you or your performance on this kind of events
on NE1.. My Mother and Aunt came.. i tot its the first parade with audience that why i was so fired up..
but i guess the true reason is because they were there watching..
they may not see me.. but being there is enough already..
there was my Brother appeared out of no where just before we marched in for the parade on NE2.. i think that affect most of the parade too..

Repetition

it has been weeks..
i still haven draw my diving equipment..
good and bad..
just need to sit one side while others are snorkeling
but its just too boring liao la..

well well…
i got myself a physio on my right shoulder..
its an injury from tamworth .. playing tennis with dom they all..
haha..
i was considering if i would want to report sick for it..
after much of it.. i reported cos it has affected my sleep…
when my sleep is already so sad
a talk with my physiotherapist.. he suggested me to take on some light drugs so as to improve my sleeping..
but how can i do that when im in NDU…
maybe 1 month before ORD i would go report.. and find some specialist or some sort one to help my sleep
physio in MMI was fast..
and MMI happen to be around NUS..
just as i was thinking who in SR when to NUS..
i saw Sheena walking to cross the road then towards me..
but didnt have the chance to chat a little.. cos her parents was there to drive her off..
haha.. what a nice timing..

my batch did a FMP on thursday..
cut the preparation and all..
i was a little surprise during the debrief..
perm staff didnt say much…
just a “job well done guys”..
dont know about the others.. but im proud to be part of you guys la..
maybe the only thing we suck in is our discipline issue aside la..

this coming week will be all parade rehearsals then the final ceremony

Friday was weiming’s last day with us..
he is going SF le…
i think he will fit just nice down there..
and i would tell my friends i got a friend in SF leh! haha

dear is having her grad show in suntec..
as of yesterday she got a namecard already..
pity for her.. she wasnt around to receive it herself…
last day of the show today..
gonna go take a look later on..
hope the best her.. and best to secure her career in her area of education..
if not her poly life would just be wasted in my opinion..

2 weeks ago..
shooting had a camp in school.. so we the senior went back for a gathering..
had a little bit a food…
bought myself my honeydew sago at the frequent hangout coffee shop of SRJCians..
had a chat with Mrs Christiana Tan.. she is having her second baby already.. haha..
envy her la..
good career good life…
the school has changed so much..
until a point that i feel excited to go back school to study imagining im still in SR
but i know.. human are piece of shit one la..
students now wont appreciate it.. sad

so its 27 march again..
its my mother’s birthday..
my father death anniversary on the English calender..
was in Ray house when i was so down and thinking why do i have this weird sad feeling..
i think think think think think..
cant get a conclusion until i saw the date on my handphone.. 26march 11pm
i felt like i just lost him all over again…

cannot really join in the fun with my buddies playing dota and the other maps..

i was pretty shock when Mrs Mah smsed me later the day..

Moving on

life in CMPB has changed abit…
with the addition of people into the RSAF interview room..
also called by the AGC room..
there are the 3 of us from NDU.. 2 from Commandos.. an officer from Mindef.. an SCT from SiSpec.. 2 FEPs and 1 failed Pilot trainee and joined us as WSO pilot trainee..
time was spent on talking about life and experience in our respective units and talking about how we wish all of us can pass AGC and proceed to the become a Pilot in the end..
but once in awhile.. someone will remind us to do a reality check..
meaning to focus on our AGC first.. haha..
some of them were from SYFC.. and their sharing of flying knowledge was really useful la..
time seems to pass faster for the 2 days they are with us..
but well.. the week ended with just 2 days..
WOHOO!
today is a off..
tomorrow is a leave..
friday is public holiday.. and im going to BATAM yo!
never been there before.. hope it will be a nice trip with Dear C:

FAME with Dear..
the show was a very nice movie to watch
im stuck in their music now.. oh~
it was another Saturday book out for the rest..
but i got a last minute call from my mum saying i better be back home on Friday night..
its for my grandmother’s 7th week..
still manage to get back home on Friday with the last bus..
Depth Dive was a new diving experience..
unlike others.. i didnt have the privilege to enjoy the clear visibility underwater..
for me.. i got to experience the scariness of total darkness by 9 metres underwater.. all the way to 27 metres mark..
with total darkness for just some time.. any source of light will blind the eye.. i got the taste of it..
well well.. nice trip over in RSS Kallang..
OCS guys have been in there for a week..
somehow i feel that they have gone since dont know how many thousand years already.. hope they are doing fine there

Ask yourself!

Monday.. the first working day after i collected my a level results..
i went back to Bedok South Secondary School..
i saw quite a few of my teachers who taught me before..
Mrs Mah Ms Shek Mrs Djie were very happy to be seeing my results..
good enough to enter a local university..
Mrs Mah told me that she is glad that i got those results..
and especially happy that i went down there to show her personally
i went back BDS because i think that they were the ones who gave me the final push when a levels were closing last year…
it was after my prelims as i recalled..
and i remembered crying when i was walking out of the school
im glad that they are happy about it..
Ms Arabham happens to see me when i was talking to Ms Shek..
and Ms Shek said.. “this student.. from sec 5na.. made it to a JC and then made it into local uni..”
next.. Ms Arabham requested me to come back during may..
for their post exam period to give my juniors a moltivational talk..
me?… a motivational talk?.. oh well.. im really not sure if i can do that..
but i hope my story can arise hopes from them..

i went blog hopping just now..
i went through people with good a level score.. and those who really screwed up..
i really hope those people who regreted screwing up their a levels to remember how they felt when they receive their results..
the moment of sadness disappointment and devastation…
if you guys are going to repeat..
you will need a huge amount of push and motivation to face the hell again
its really not easy.. i know.. not because i went through it..
but because im good in putting myself into shoes..
for those who decides to go private…
dont just go there because thats a easier option..
go there with the mindset of winning get the game that you lost..
we will graduate one day..
the day may not be the same..
but we all will graduate..

met up with Raymond and Roslin to buy our bbq stuff..
then Ray drove us to Aloha Loyang Bungalow 13
the check in time was 3pm..
Ray thought is was 2pm..
and he needs to go back BDS for his NCC stuff..
we went in the Bungalow without checking in at first..
only Roslin and i..
our stuff is all inside.. waiting for 3pm..
so we searched out Chinese Chess..
obviously i own her.. haha
and the loser was set to go to the reception which was quite far away
before i could win the first game in the bungalow..
the staff of the chalet came in and invited us out of the perimeter..
game restarted outside the bungalow.. on the road side..
still… i won..
bbq started.. and group by group they come..
but as always.. there will be those who we lost contact and those who never want to associate with us anymore..
had a good time catching up with some of them..
after the bbq..
past midnight..
the leftovers gathered round the table..
and we had a SINchalet……

and some other fish farm because he wanted to buy some fish..

we came across this fish farm..
there is a small pond for prawning..
and another big pond for fishing..
we were attracted to a young lady at her 20s
having a hard time with the hooked fish..
5mins… 10.. 15.. 25..
Sherman was suggesting that she will never pull that fish out of the water..
and we should go..
the rest of us werent want as we waited for quite long already..
and we should see how big that fish was..
35…40…..45mins..
she succeed with her fishing with some help for others
the fish was at least 1 metre long..
that was really a “wow” factor..
then the next moment..
they let the fish go…
we were troubled in our mind…
finally.. on our way out..
we saw the pond’s name.. “Catch-and-release pond”

so i let her sleep for an hour..

Xiong Wei was so missing us..
decided to call us up for dinner..
Herman was in camp on last tuesday

The Rich Chapter

went for Clay Shooting last Wednesday..
had something we didnt have the chance to shoot last time we came..
there is this rabbit..

after that.. i joined dear for a movie and she helped me wrote my certificate..
though it is just a template.. but well..

Han Rong's Birthday party at Pasir Ris Costa Sand Resort was quite fun..
first we went to the Wild Wild Wet.. which was the best i guess..
i conquered my fear of those thrilling rides..
the "U" thing really made me scream until out-of-breath
just imagine..
i started screaming... and when i notice my breath was out.. i still haven reached the ground..
hohohho.. that was damn good a thrill man.. haha
i didnt get to stay over as i would be doing my Basic Theory the next day..
passed it of cos..
returned to set fire for the BBQ at the evening..
BBQ with Jun Liang all the way until we went off together..
got to know a couple of new friends
and glad that Han Rong enjoyed his party.. haha

i was up this morning ... i meant i didnt actually slept..
as i was really energetic..
who knows why? sad..
just cant sleep..
so i decided to go cycling..
from Bedok Reservoir to East Coast..
saw Mr Yang and some SRJCians around there at 5+ am
then to Old Airport Road..
then to Paya Lebar..
and then finally back home..
took 4 whole hours to complete that..
taking into account the reading of maps..
haha.. and taking pics..

suddenly i felt that time slowed down...
oh man.. how i wish i am one of those rich kids...

went home awhile...
then met up with her again to go Darren's house..
its 8+ when i heard he got his driving license and he will be driving the group of us for the night!!

but when Ray told us he took bus to Darren's house..
all set..
cant wait for my turn to drive them..

A date of birth

so my birthday gone like that..
with most of my friends wishing me my happy 19th..
while some even bought gift for me..
Rina gave me a board with birthday message and a cookie from Famous Amos..
Zhuo Ying gave me a shirt from Topman, a painted car, a cake and a zipper...
Audrey game me a water blaster.. lol..
Ms Ng bought a cake and the class sang birthday song to me which made me really touched about that..
she also gave me a winnie pooh hammer
of cos.. dear dear always have surprises for me..
