The return of mianbao

the fire in me has been staying small for a long long time

exams coupled with all the physiotherapy shit

i was told im ahead of time for my knee recovery

and will be able to run on my own this week onwards

i have waiting for this week for 4 months

its really an self-achievement

week after week of physio

im glad i discovered TED.com

and found an alternative source of motivation in these dark times

with all my friends busy studying

and my 6 papers to face

as well as those annoying knee problem

its really hard for me

but i guess i have to stop asking myself why me

and ask why not me?

just like how i learn from TED

i was hit in the left knee when im at the top of my fitness

and i saw all these opportunity went pass and gone forever

the video...

bought back my memory of my air force times

when im there in Tamworth Australia doing my air grading course

the day that i failed my flying test

was the day the doors of  many other opportunities opened

my knee is my life

just like any other part of me

let the new knee help me embrace the new life ahead

its has been long.. long time..

For a Quiet while

Flying is fun
learning how to fly is tough.. especially when you are getting tax payers money.. haha
on the route of learning how to fly.. there many difficult moments for me..
i dont know.. just actually how i manage to screw those important moments in my life..
yea.. my dream is to be a pilot..
now that im out..
i felt im kind of lost..
because all my life is mainly to be a pilot.. pilot…… pilot………
SIA the next choice? maybe?
who knows..
now.. the more im into piloting..
the more i get impress with pilots..
the attributes they have really makes me jealous.. haha
i can fly.. just that i cant fly well enough..
with the stress of instructor … i will admin that i went haywire man..
just not good enough ba..
been here tried it..
no regrets..
i may or may not fly again..
but those lessons of these instructors will stay within me..
always..
i wish the rest surviving in 01/10 all the best.. C:


back to Singapore.. received my dearest mum brother and dear..
nowhere makes me felt like home except home.. really..
but as much i like home.. here also put me into the reality..

Need a breather

its Christmas period..
and the New Year 2010 is within days of reach..
shortly after the new year will be my departure date..
most likely an A380..
and there will be stress and pain everything in Australia..
as always.. im very positive of myself.. that i will be able to pass this course..
but sometimes you just never know..
for the next moment i may just cried out loud somewhere no one knows..
thats real painful..
for all of the pilot trainees going for the same AGC will understand that i suppose
life after AGC wont be easy too.. so there are much to come.
but AGC first..
Aviation!?… i think for me… its still Hooyah! for now..
i misses the NDU culture..
Air Force culture is so ………

Culture Shock

finally got my first laptop lo!!! yea babe.. its hot
last few days in CMPB were slack until cannot..
and today.. we reported to AFRC for the first day..
a complete culture shock for us la…
there are almost a way to do things for everything man…
what the hell
so sad..
the question is why?… isnt me served 9 months of national service already?
yea. but in the dog unit… thats why hahahah
my head is pain pain pain man…
after the Zouk session with my AGC mates then the 4 days of night drinking in KL and Malacca…
i realised i have grown fat.. weak.. and super unhealthy
i hate this feeling.. and there is no much we can do about it.
cos we are encouaged not to run..
hope life in AFRC wont be so sucky for long..
and 3 Jan is coming real fast for this point of time..
just hope everything goes smooth

Moving on

life in CMPB has changed abit…
with the addition of people into the RSAF interview room..
also called by the AGC room..
there are the 3 of us from NDU.. 2 from Commandos.. an officer from Mindef.. an SCT from SiSpec.. 2 FEPs and 1 failed Pilot trainee and joined us as WSO pilot trainee..
time was spent on talking about life and experience in our respective units and talking about how we wish all of us can pass AGC and proceed to the become a Pilot in the end..
but once in awhile.. someone will remind us to do a reality check..
meaning to focus on our AGC first.. haha..
some of them were from SYFC.. and their sharing of flying knowledge was really useful la..
time seems to pass faster for the 2 days they are with us..
but well.. the week ended with just 2 days..
WOHOO!
today is a off..
tomorrow is a leave..
friday is public holiday.. and im going to BATAM yo!
never been there before.. hope it will be a nice trip with Dear C:

Xiong Wei was so missing us..
decided to call us up for dinner..
Herman was in camp on last tuesday
hence.. the 4 of us met up only..

A Dulled Lunar New Year

i was at the hospital..
the surrounding clouds were dark grey in colour..
enhanced the brightness of the sun..
but i believe all of us missed the moment due to the movement of the clouds

Leap over Cliff

went for my Pilot Vocational interview yesterday..
took long hours of travelling time and finally reached CMBP
and damn my phone went flat……….
thought of having lunch at Botak Jones but it was too crowded then
end up in CMPB’s canteen..
went on to Mum’s office to take a look..
all her colleagues were so warm in welcoming me..
times up..
reported to the SAF Recruitment Centre
anxiety and nervousness filled me in
heart rates go faster and heavier
there were 15 candidates on that day..
i was the 8th one..
a Major named Chris came on and brief us
and the session begins
waited for more than an hour..
seeing people being accepted and some rejected makes me more nervous
finally i went in
and came out in around 5 mins..
the fastest on that day i think..
the Chairman of the RSAF Flying Training School asked to me take care and see me in 2 years time..
then i went out… waiting for the result..
Major Chris then came out saying, “ah.. you.. you crazy ah?"….
and he goes on..
I AM ACCEPTED!
felt so damn relief..
went on to meet Dear in Cityhall and we shopped for her New Year clothing and shoes for hours..
before we went Darren’s house for Red Cliff 1
Chevy was first there but he doesnt seen interested in the movie..
Raymond came too..
Darren drived us to Tampines Mall for Red Cliff 2 at Midnight
the movie was damn good man!

January
the year started quickly..
JC2 now.. no more playing and fooling around..
got a change of teachers
for General Paper.. Mrs Josephine Wong is replaced by Ms Joanne Raj..

for Maths.. Mr Tan Soi Cheng to Mr Chong
For Chemistry.. Mrs Jess Wong to Mr Kenneth Yang

yes it is.. the whole change in the teacher squad for 2007's 1S20, 2008's 2S17
Lennon and Huay Xhin replaced Baron and Guan Jie..
miss the two Chong Hua jokers lots man..
and distinctively Lennon was loner and kept to himself for a few weeks..
sat at one corner and stone his way through the lessons..
until when Jun Liang and i brought him into the guys group..
celebrated Jun Liang's 18th at his place..
saw his Mother for the first time.. wow,, beautiful man..

had a great time with the others playing xbox and taboo..
orientation for the first intake started on the second next..
the whole duration for the orientation..
only 10 was left in class..
the rest are OGLs and Games-ic
i remembered one very lesson with Mrs Sim..
8 of us stand at the back of the class..
and left with 2 having tutorial with her.. haha..
forget the reason for that already..
study group was formed..

Audrey had a secret then.. leading for the Yangshuo Trip..
and now.. she has found her love and im so very glad..
harsh and cruel studying stress builds up quickly..
i remember i found it hard to even breath properly..
and issues started to shoot up suddenly every now and then..
CCA fair for the first intake was a sucky one..
people just come as they like..
had a few shots and few and thats it..
the second time was better.. we got to choose properly with Mr Ng and Ms Lin's technique
remembered how harsh we are on this 560 guy.. haha
Shooting training was getting more intense..
NTU NUSIS and Nationals coming our way..
i believe all my shooters will always remembered how hard they train
and also felt the bitterness when results doesnt show up with their increase in hardwork
fortnights after fortnights... we all grew as a team..
achieved my first achievement of the year..
completed my 100km challenge..
Mr Teng urged me to go for 200km and i did..
i never thought i could finish 200km in this year..
well well.. its something to keep me moltivated..
February
Chinese New Year given all of us a break from school..
especially this year..
the break was really well enjoyed..
visited my former secondary school and caught up with my teachers..
hope they are still doing well now
felt like a De Javu...
the same quarter of the year..
JC1.. and JC2.. the threat to destroying my own relationship...
its my own fault
come to think about it..
these 2 experience made me realise that i actually love my girlfriend more than i imagine..
i still kept the letter that my girlfriend sent me..
Jun Liang was there for me.. cried my heart out in the toilet with him..
returning back to class.. i think Mr Chong knew somehow that i have problems and gave that look to me..
greatly appreciated
NTU Invitational Shoot..
the team all did pretty well..
most of them got their personal best..
i could remember Wanyin was on a super train to perfection..
and most of them had their first external shoot unlike Timo and i..
during the celebration at Swesens after the NTU shoot..

i exited the live of a loner and came off to be an independent person..

and the Shooting camp started quite soon..
Shuqi overall incharge the camp and i assisted her in everyway i can..
theres some ups and downs during the camp and i think all of us grew together..
dont know the J1s.. but i know the J2's bond is a hard one to break

parents night was a shocking one..
my Mother was told that im top 30 in the cohort when there were Us and Ss..
Mr Yang briefed us on the plan of the year.. and what to expect as we faces the ultimate goal..
that really was a helpful one i thought
the release of A level Chinese and PW results..
both Bs for me..
i thought i would fair better in PW.. but well B is Satisfaction for me.. as look from right now

never really enjoy it ..
just looking around and cheering for Aquila..

RSAF's 40th Anniversary Open House

met Audrey in the morning... then took a crowded bus to Paya Lebar Airbase..
met Jun Liang there at lane 3..
cut his queue again.. oh man lol..
and then we entered..


the Parachutists from the Commandos

battle between Jun Liang and Audrey in the Carnival Games sector..
its a game controlling a toy helicopter and toy plane to go round the designated track on the floor.. for one round..
the kids just in front of us were funny
when the winner got his gift.. he said "eee, why this alien so ugly one?"
LOL..
and oh..
saw Ian and friends while we were queueing for this game..

the Aerial Display


the Aerial display was the highlight which lasted about one hour..
featuring 2 F16, 2 F5, 3 Apache and a Chinook on a rescue mission with Commandos and some 'bad guys'
so thats about it..
oh.. Audrey got sun burnt after that... ??? lol!

National Day is coming

i guess there is the National Day Parade 08 rehearsal going on now..

PILOT!!!

went to marina square just now...
quite alot of people there...
then first time i saw was the flight simulator...
so cool man.. lol.. but didnt get the chance to try it out...
got a few flyers on being a pilot...
then i appoached a real pilot to ask him several questions...
went off after that...

reached paya lebar... went to kfc and waited for dear dear....
while waiting i took out my econs tutorial and start working on it...
so bloody long winded question...
but theres only three lines offered ....

lol..
manage to finish two part of a question...
then dear came...
ate with her and then went home....

dont know why now so tired...
later going down stair to have dinner with our Mayor..
cool uh?

its for the chinese new year de...

The Release of the 'A' Level Result

today is the release of the a level results last year...
many teachers got mixed feelings today...
some sad some happy...

this also ended my day earlier as my teacher release us at 2pm instead of 4.30...
stupid joanne go and take early leave form...
lol...

today knew the junliang's dream is same as mine...
to be a pilot!!!
just now chated with him alot on the section of our dream...
haha... bonding man...

after school went home...
then follow my bro and his friend to parkway the grand dont know what roxy hotel...
for the Internet Marketing Conference...
listen to the instructor introduce some skills....
but all along he was advertising the bloody course....
well...
i think with what i listen today...
maybe i will be a person with multiple streams of independent income....
wahahaha...
by then.. the SINGAPORE dream will be achieve!!!
