“Red Tails” Tail

booked out successfully on Friday..
went home and had quite a good sleep..
after so much of lack of sleep..
sleeping anywhere is just heaven
went to The Chevrons with Jun Liang..
it was quite a long while since i last seen him when we were back in college for our results..
we had a Commando and Diver sharing..
both called as elite soliders.. but are both of much different life..
but there are similarities too..
both are full of risk..
he himself almost paid his life while serving in the 1st Battalion
few hours of chat between us..
then we parted ..
before he dropped off at his station..
he handed me this plane model of P-51C MUSTANG “Red Tails”

and he told me it was meant to serve a reminder for me to stay..
the the story behind the red tail was that all planes with the red tails were pilot by the Blacks during war time in the past..
although the Blacks were being looked down on.. they were the best pilots in America in the period and many battles won because of them..
he wanted to give it to me when my father just passed away back in March.. but just have no time to meet up with me..
im truely thankfully touched
my uncle came just now to “renovate” my Mother’s room abit..
much stuff have been cleared out of the room..
i went in after everything and i even hear the echo of my footstep..
hahaha.. its quite amazing yea..
its officially 3 weeks to graduation on paper…
we got 1500mins to clock…
the Deep.. and then finally our Graduation Day..
fired up guys.. the end of a naval diver trainee piece of shit life is going to end soon..

The word for us – SLUTS!

after a week of unhappiness..
due to hammering sessions..
we sat down and talk..
i thought it was a necessary talk for all of us..
even if some of us dont really appreciate the effort..
nevertheless it made us all think about everything that happened during the week in our long weekend..
hmm~
Friday was a good half a day..
spent the morning in Labrador Park running and absorbing some NE knowledge
well done Leaders!
and finally.. its our turn to book out in Civilian clothing
i just hope that we all can change for the better for once..
no more safety violation..
faster movements
improve in discipline..
if not.. we will be seeing another hell week coming..


went to the NUSS Guild House in Suntec on Friday night to check it out..
it is really a nice place to go to..
quite a unique concept for a meal at night..
but well it may not seems to be as good for a graduation night dinner..
met up with my secondary school buddies later..
watched surrogates..
where people just think.. and machines of themselves will execute it
good idea for a movie.. bad script… thats in my opinion..

spent the whole Saturday resting
really tired out during the weekdays..
diving and diving..
and today.. its book in day again..
we should not be complaining anymore..
but i think im still slut.. haha
WEEKEND ARE TOO SHORT LA!!!

FAME with Dear..
the show was a very nice movie to watch
im stuck in their music now.. oh~
it was another Saturday book out for the rest..
but i got a last minute call from my mum saying i better be back home on Friday night..
its for my grandmother’s 7th week..
still manage to get back home on Friday with the last bus..
Depth Dive was a new diving experience..
unlike others.. i didnt have the privilege to enjoy the clear visibility underwater..
for me.. i got to experience the scariness of total darkness by 9 metres underwater.. all the way to 27 metres mark..
with total darkness for just some time.. any source of light will blind the eye.. i got the taste of it..
well well.. nice trip over in RSS Kallang..
OCS guys have been in there for a week..
somehow i feel that they have gone since dont know how many thousand years already.. hope they are doing fine there

Never a Endless Togetherness

took this as a Bunk man! at last.. some group photos
went to Clarke Quay yesterday night with my NDU buddies..
Shern and Tiong going off for their Officer Cadet School training to become Midshipman
while Lai will be continuing the course with a name of SSDC..
the rest of us will stay put in CDC.. and advance with the use of stealth LAR-V sets..
Lai brought us to the Cafe Iguana just opposite the Liang Court..
and introduce to us this very drink..
the drink that cramped up all of our faces..
and let us stick out our tongues
have Tiong jump off his seat and went for a run around the cafe perimeter
hahahahahhahaha
as Lai put it.. its a drink just for trying only once..
you’ll never want to taste it in your life for the second time..
but.. he himself too the second time as Nat gave up his glass after just one sip
before we had our turn to pour down the shot..
i asked Nat.. and he said, “its worst than caustic cocktail man.. what the f…”

good time drinking with good companies la…. Chill Tequila aside of cos!

with people going off for OCS…
and the class spliting into 2 groups
our class.. for CDC is left with only this little number of people..
after the depth dive this coming week..
time will become more and more difficult to pass..
not much close friends to complain and wind to..
from morning setting up of sea boats.. to the time when we are secure for the day.. all the cycles keep going as a routine..
its difficult.. really..
come to think about it..
i seriously think that being a hellweeker does equate us to becoming an elite solider
but to do operational activities day in day out..
i can feel the name of NDU coming now..

Longing the long

after all those talking and disappointment during training
day by day.. we waited.. dragged our ass along to clock dive time..
finally.. this day when all the combat and back pay is pumped into our accounts..
hoho!~ i can say that our hearts were lifted alittle..
finally some thing to look forward to…
32nd batch of bmt in ndu enlisted on my birthday..
the whole batch has 37 and 1 blank file..
i never realise 31st batch was so long before
our daily march is at 14 or 13 only man..

the 31st batch became seniors..
being the senior.. we realise alot of new stuff..
stuff that are hidden by the instructors to the newly enlisted trainees
damn it man..
i got that feeling that we were being cheat somehow and now.. its time to cheat on our junoirs..
the feeling sucks man
new stuff have been coming in..
changes here and there..
new phone.. new com…
but somethings just dont change..
hmm..

by right.. for us now.. we should be looking forward to our graduation..
but  but  but….. must be our batch.. the graduation need to be postponed..
oh man.. thats hell

im saying this quite a number of time recently.. hmm...

i've been scout by the team navy guys to shoot for team navy the coming inter formation shoot
i really wish i can shoot for team navy for at least once.. but well.. pursueing my dream is standing in the way.. so .. i guess the most is that i will shoot for the air force rather than for navy..
well.. at least i represented ndu for once.. C:
564.. im going to break it soon..

there has been a change in the training pattern for us..
more towards diving.. and all out for diving..
clocking dive time and teaching us new skills..
hope the coming weeks of training will keep me excited.. haha

finally a friday book out last friday..
never felt the joy of leaving the camp on friday that happy...
well well.. deserving or not.. we dont know.. and is not within our control..
but we just take it as it comes..
750 bodybuilder.. 400 push ups.. or saturday book out... or confinement.. which one will you choose.. haha..
suck it up man... thats the only way out of this shitty trainee life that we are enjoying now..

with all the confinement and saturday book outs previously..
its good to meet up with the same bunch of friends again..
supper.. cards.. taking photos.. and the catching up.. just feel like old times..
oh man.. i miss schooling days...

few more weeks and we'll be through..
2 more weeks to the classifying of us into either udt or cdg.. i hope i can go cdg.. for which i earned it.. not given..
